An LA County wide initiative (Clean LA) is once again providing the opportunity for users of the Compton Airport and the general population at large to gather their old ECO-unfriendly waste materials and dispose of them safely.
On Saturday, October 6th between 9am and 3pm, the public is encouraged to use this collection point as an environmentally friendly & more desirable alternative to disposing harmful toxic materials using the normal trash services. This effort is in concert with the State of California's general initiative to help preserve the environment. A flier containing more details and limitations about the collection can be viewed by clicking here.
This round-up is being brought to you by the County of Los Angeles and presented by the Department of Public Works and the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County in cooperation with the cities of Carson, Compton, Downey, Gardena, Long Beach, Lynwood, Paramount, and South Gate.
