In the spirit of giving, the Compton Airport Users Group (in partnership with the Compton Fire Department) is once again organizing the airport's annual "Joy Drive" for the holidays.  Though December 22nd,  there will be  another collection to contribute to the city fire department's "Spark of Love" toy campaign.

All are invited to spread cheer (and the word) that donations of unwrapped toys for children of any age are being collected.   Airport tenant friends, families, as well as surrounding organizations and businesses are invited to donate.

100% of the toys collected will be physically delivered by the Fire Department to kids living in neighbourhoods throughout the city of Compton.

Donors should register and leave their gifts at the airport collection point inside the airport manager's office located at the main terminal building.   The terminal is the small white building with Compton/Woodley Airport - County of Los Angeles written and trimmed in blue directly behind the two large flag poles.

The address of the airport is 901 West Alondra Blvd. in the city of Compton.   Drop-off arrangements can be made in advance by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or by contacting the airport manager at (310) 631-8140.
