Too Toxic to TrashCompton airport tenants and LA County residents in general have an annual ECO-friendly means to dispose of the not-so ECO-friendly hazardous waste they have accumulated that they believe might be unsafe to manage by local residential waste collection.

The public is invited to drop off their toxic waste at a designated safe location that has the tools and expertise necessary to correctly dispose of their environmentally harmful materials.  This effort is in concert with the State of California's general initiative to help protect the environment.   A flier for the event with more details and instructions can be found by clicking here.

This event is being brought to you by the County of Los Angeles and presented by the Department of Public Works and the Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County in cooperation with the cities of Carson, Compton, Downey, Gardena, Long Beach, Lynwood, Paramount, and South Gate.
